Dallas Baptist University, also referred to as simply DBU, is a Christian liberal arts university located in Dallas, which is the 3rd largest city in the US state of Texas and the 9th largest one in USA, having a population of more than 1 million inhabitants, estimated during the 2009 census.
DBU was established in 1898 as Decatur Baptist College and it currently operates campuses in Dallas, Frisco, Hurst, and Mansfield, with the Dallas campus being its main campus. It offers its students, who number approximately 9000 in total, 63 undergraduate majors, 20 graduate programs, and 2 doctoral programs, through 8 colleges, which include: the College of Business, College of Fine Arts, and College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics.
